Anyone from an ADB member country can enter! (see our full list of members
at <http://www.adb.org/About/membership.asp <http://www.adb.org/About/membership.asp> >)
To participate, all you need to do is:
(1) Make a 1-5 minute video in any format and language--English
is preferred;
(2) Upload it to YouTube (or Youku in the People's Republic of China); and
(3) Fill out a simple online registration form.
Remember: the video must be about climate change in the Asia-Pacific] region.
Entries must be submitted by January 31,
2010!
More than US$ 10,000 in prizes will be awarded in March, 2010
A grand prize of US$ 2,500 and 1st-3rd place cash prizes will be
given.
Three categories of prizes
(1) Youth (under 21) from an ADB Developing Member Country
<http://www.adb.org/Countries/<http://www.adb.org/Countries/> >;
(2) Open (21+) from an ADB Developing Member Country
<http://www.adb.org/Countries/
<http://www.adb.org/Countries/> >; and
(3) Citizens of all other ADB member countries.
Flip-cams will also be awarded as consolation prizes.
Contest Judges include
Cannes and Venice International
Film Festival
award-winning directors!
